Share one window.
Not your whole screen.
PrivacyStage creates virtual monitors on your Mac, lets you tag just the app windows you choose, and shares only those in Teams, Meet, or Zoom, and the shared view follows whichever tagged window you're using.

Works with the calls you already use
Screen sharing is all-or-nothing. PrivacyStage makes it selective.
Everything leaks
- Notifications, DMs, and stray tabs are all visible.
- Sharing a big monitor makes everything tiny on the other side.
- You constantly rearrange windows before every call.
- Switch apps and you're fumbling with “Share Screen” again.
Only what you tag
- Just the windows you tagged are ever visible.
- Rendered at a share-friendly resolution, never tiny.
- Your real windows never move. PrivacyStage captures them.
- The view follows your active window, no re-sharing.
Live in four steps
A virtual display comes online instantly. Tag what to show. Share it. Forget about it.
New Virtual Monitor
Click once and a hidden virtual display comes online instantly. Name it, pick 720p, 900p, or 1080p.
Tag your windows
Click the windows to share, or tag a whole app so all its current and future windows come along.
Share in your call
In Teams, Meet, or Zoom, choose Share Screen and pick the display named after your monitor.
It follows you
Click into any tagged window and the shared monitor shows it, switching automatically as you work.
The shared view follows your active window
Tag a few windows once. Whichever tagged window you click into becomes what everyone sees, instantly and hands-free.

Live preview: the frame switches as the active tagged window changes.
Built for people who share their screen all day
Three layouts, one Layout picker
Follow Active Window for a clean one-at-a-time share, Grid to tile every tagged window at once (up to nine, aspect-fit), or Primary + Thumbnails to keep one window big with the rest on deck.
App-level tagging
Tag a whole app and every current and future window comes along automatically, shown as removable icon chips.
Follow-active-window
The shared monitor tracks whichever tagged window is frontmost and hot-swaps the moment your focus changes.
Pick your resolution
720p, 900p, or 1080p per monitor, always share-friendly, so your content never looks tiny on the other side.
Per-monitor enable / disable
Flip a monitor off between calls and keep its entire configuration (names, tags, resolution) ready for next time.
Remembers everything
Monitors, names, resolutions, layout, and both tag levels persist across launches.
Universal binary
One download runs natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, with no separate versions to choose between.
Lives in your menu bar
Check what's live, add a source, or jump straight into a call, without ever opening the full window.
Tag once. Every window follows.
Working in an app that spawns new windows all day: a browser, a design tool, a terminal? Tag the app itself. PrivacyStage covers all of its current and future windows, and per-window selection steps aside with a tidy “via app” badge.
- Bundle-level tags always restore on relaunch
- Removable icon chips for every tagged app
- Mix app tags and single-window tags freely
Show the whole picture at once
Some sessions need one window; others need the full board. Switch to Grid and every tagged window appears together, each a live, independent capture stream, tiled and aspect-fit into an auto-sized layout up to nine tiles.
- One live stream per window, all updating at once
- Auto-sized, aspect-fit tiles up to 9 windows
- Flip between Follow and Grid from the Layout picker
Everything, one click away
PrivacyStage lives in your menu bar so you never have to open the full window mid-call. See what's live, glance at what's on screen, add a source on the fly, or jump straight back in.
- See which monitor is live and what's on screen at a glance
- Add a window to share without leaving your call
- Open the full app or quit, right from the menu bar
What isn't tagged is never seen
PrivacyStage paints only your tagged windows onto a hidden virtual display. Everything else (your inbox, your DMs, that other monitor) simply isn't part of the stream.
Only tagged windows leave your Mac
Notifications, background apps, and untagged windows never enter the shared view.
No account required

Good to know
What exactly gets shared?
Only the windows you tag to a monitor. PrivacyStage captures those windows and paints the active one onto a hidden virtual display; you share that display in your call. Untagged windows, notifications, and background apps never appear.
Will it move or resize my real windows?
No. Your windows stay exactly where they are. PrivacyStage only captures them. Nothing is moved, resized, or sent to another desktop.
How does the free trial work?
You get 3 days with every feature unlocked. Trial start is stored in your Keychain, so it survives reinstalls. When it ends, enter a license key to keep going.
How do I get my license key after paying?
Checkout is handled by Paddle. The moment payment clears, your license key is generated and emailed to you. Open PrivacyStage, paste the key, and you're unlocked. No account required.
Which Macs are supported?
macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, on both Apple Silicon and Intel. It's a single download that runs natively on either, with no separate versions and no security warnings.
Which call apps does it work with?
Any app that can share a screen, including Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom. In the call's Share Screen dialog, pick the display named after your PrivacyStage monitor.
Share smarter on your next call.
Download PrivacyStage, tag a window, and see the difference in your very next meeting.
